Halloween 2011

Let me explain Noah costume! He is one of those kids that goes to the bathroom every 30 min, but at school he is only allowed to go 3 times a day. So, we are working on getting him to remember to go at recess also but what ends up happening is...he tries to hold it all day long and doesnt always make it:( They wore their costumes to school on Halloween and he didnt make it home dry that day. So he was a really cool Ninja but I didnt get a picture before it was "soiled" We have a dress up box in the play room so I sent him to pick a different costume and this "Vampire" is what he came up with all on his own...it was impromptu about 10 min before we went Trick Or Treating:) Easton has been SUPER into Toy Story 3 which worked perfectly with the Woody costume we already had!

Our Halloween dinner !! After a brisk Trick Or Treat around the neighborhood a warm jack-o-lantern bread bowl of chili:)

The one adult is the only one not looking:)

Pre Halloween Activitites

Our Ward grew a garden this year and split the produce! It was at the Bishops house and thats wear we got our pumpkins this year (FREE!!!) The boys picked out their pumpkins...

then Bishop took them for a 4 wheeler ride down to the garden to get some corn stalks to decorate the porch

The "Patch"

We snagged some squash while we were there...

Easton found a stray green bean, he was so proud!!
COLOR A COOKIE
The boys picked this little set out as their prize at the store. It came with 4 pre frosted cookies and 4 edible markers. They thought it was the greatest thing ever! Plus, now I have edible markers I can use to make them excited to eat other things:)

THE PUMPKIN WALK
Every year the town does a pumpkin walk. Schools and companies from all over town use pumpkins to make funny scenes from movies or cartoons and such. At the end of the walk there are always all sorts of picture board things with cut out where your head goes. We all look forward to it every year:)

DECORATING PUMPKINS
This year we opted for painting and potato head face pieces instead of carving!!

I think they turned out GREAT!!!!
