Easton Starts Preschool

We debated about an early year of PreSchool for Easton since he is already in a speech focused preschool. However, we decided to go for it since all his little buddies were going and we have spent so much time focusing on speech (he has a front to back articulation delay) that he could probably use a little more of all the regular stuff. You know...letter, numbers, shapes...I suppose those are important too:) this is the same preschool the Noah went to and he was SOOOO excited that Easton was going too...he prepped him ahead of time to know what to expect:)

OPEN HOUSE NIGHT
They came a week ahead of time to find their coat racks, cubbies, seats and meet Teacher Jen

He liked the little couch and decided it was his favorite part :)

 WE LOVE TEACHER JEN!!

His first Day!! He is soo excited and seriously thinks he is pretty BIG stuff..and well, HE IS!!

They wait on the porch for all their friends...
Getting a little nervous now..

Then they walk back to the school for class:)
Everyones favorite part...THE PORCH SWING:)

HE DID IT!!
Walking back to the porch for pick up. He loved every minute of it:)

Pizza making Family Night

We have tried to be better about having regular Family Home Evenings this year. We have still been a little hit or miss but this is one of the favorites for everyone:) Everyone gets their own dough and shapes it and tops it however they like.

Noahs is a BBQ Chicken Captain America Sheild:)    Eastons is Pepperoni...his FAV!!

My little cheese eater...the kid sneaks bags AND blocks of cheese and just munches away?? WEIRD:)

Dad needed a little help:)

1st Day of 2nd Grade

2nd Grade!!!

Too cool to walk with Mom anymore, he had to ride his scooter ahead:)

Easton chasing after him...he is really not okay with Noah going back to school. They became pretty good buddies over this past summer:)

 And he is off...

He made it!! Survived another first day:)

Easton could hardly stand it!! Noah might not admit it but he missed his brother too:)

 After School Cookies:)

Can you tell they have school themed pictures in them?

August Randoms

Easton ADORES the neighbor dog Annie.
We walked her while the Francis' were out of town and Easton was sooo excited and proud that he was doing it by himself. He thought it was a little extra funny when Annie dragged him behind and he could barely keep up:)

Hurricane chamber

At the mall there is a ridiculously expensive hurricane simulator that my boys always beg to do. I finally gave in and they thought it was hilarious...until it got to about 80 MPH. Easton flipped out and opened the door and made it stop. He thought he was gonna blow away!!

Back to School Hair cuts

Cookie Cutters is the coolest place to get your kiddos haircuts done! This is the first time we ever have (I usually do it myself to save the money) but we had coupons and it was back to school time.
The boys loved it :)

Family Night at Texas Roadhouse

Noah has been begging to go to Texas Roadhouse...he loves the peanuts! So we finally went and it happened to be Monday night. As it turns out, the do family night activities! How fun:) We were kinda late so the only one left was roll making. That didnt bother my kids one bit! They thought it was soooo fun to go mold the dough into whatever they wanted. The hostess even baked and delivered it to the table for them. They were pretty sure they were getting some seriously special treatment!

Brigham City Open House

Liz and Joel had extra tickets to the Brigham City Temple open house, so we all joined them. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful new temple... cant wait to go back for a session once its dedicated! I loved the perfect opportunity to talk to my boys about the Gospel and the Temple and the work done there.

Handsome boys waiting for the shuttle...of course Noah has a game in hand:)

Easton enjoyed the booties...just not on his feet:)

Noah enjoyed the cookies:)

I know we took family pictures by the fountain but I can't seem to get a hold of them. I don't know whos camera they were on either:( So here is just the Temple. It's still beautiful!
