Kite Day
After learning about fall and wind, the first grade had a kite day:) The boys had a blast...though it was a little sketchy with all those strings going different directions! We had a few tangles but it was otherwise a perfect kite flying day:)

Blomquist March BDay Party

For a few years all of my siblings and parents have lived in Utah (which is rare in my family) so we have had a little get together for all the March BDays combined. BBQ and swimming at the Red Pine Clubhouse:)Sorry these are the pics we got, fuzzy and random but it is what it is!

Dear My Goofy Little Easton
Happy 3rd BDAY!! You are such an energetic funny little thing. You will snuggle with me in the morning after Noah goes to school but only because you know I love it. You ask me if thats enough snuggling after about 10 minutes. You always want to help me in the kitchen. It never matters what I am making or even if Im just doing the dishes you and your stool are right next to me. You are still a cleaner and spend all sorts of time vaccuming, dusting, and wiping things off with a wet towel. You can spend hours in the sandbox, dusting for dinosaur bones and filling buckets with sand.
Dinosaurs and airplanes are your absolute favorite things right now. I love to secretly watch you act things out with your dinosaurs. You never use words just growls but its obvious that there is a story going on in your head. You desperatly want to be big like Noah. You are always talking about turning 5 (you are excited for the Tooth Fairy to come and to go to Big school) You think you want to go out and play with friends like he does and he lets you come with him but you always come back with in 10 minutes saying "I just needed to check on you, Mom" I think your still a little young and kinda like to be with Mom still!! I LOVE it:)You really really enjoy playing board games. Hungry Hippos is at the top of the list and I am sure someday I will miss constantly hearing "play me, Mom" over and over and over and over...EVERYDAY!! :) Someday....maybe?? haha
You started speech therapy this year at BirchCreek Elementary Mrs. Kristen is your teacher and you just lover her. You always look forward to going and have been making great improvements. You have a front to back articulation delay. Meaning that you can say all the sounds individually but when you come across a word that has sounds made in the front of your mouth and the back, you drop a sound or replace it with an easier one to say. Kristen thinks you will work it out pretty quickly and until then you just enjoy going to class. Its almost like Noah, even though its only 30 minutes a day 3 days a week.
You are still in the 50% all around, size, weight, and head. You LOVE to eat cheese. Sometimes we get the block out of the fridge and find bites taken out of it! You are always willing to eat your veggies but only when told you must. You love any kind of sugary treat but you will take water over juice most of the time so I will take what I can get:)
You are just a ball of adorable energy with a smile and giggle that can light up anyones day. You love that we moved you into Noahs room this year in your bunk beds. I think you love your big brother more then anything or anyone on the planet and I hope you never lose that. Happy Birthday little man. Thank you for the priviledge of being your Mom. I love watching you grow and learn!
