Thanksgiving 2011

We went to the Whytes for Thanksgiving this year but, first we had turkey pancakes for dinner before everyone left. My kids LOVE it when I make their food into something and I LOVE preparing them for a holiday that way:)  AnnMarie brought Easton up on Tues and Liz brought Noah up on Wednesday because Keith and I had Ballroom Dance classes Wed night and that way the boys didnt have to drive up way late with us. So we joined everyone Thanksgiving morning and we all had a great time:) Grandma J got tickets to the Forgotten Carols for all the couples and offered to watch all the kids so we could go out together. We went to dinner at a Mongolian Grill and then to the Carols. The Grandparent kept the kids and went to Blastoff and then to play at Great Aunt Beckies:)

Noahs Dentist Appt

Noah seems to have his Dads teeth:( I have had 2 cavities my entire life and never floss or swish. Keith does all of that most days and I dont think he has a tooth in his mouth that hasnt been worked on. 6 months ago Noah had double pulpectomies on his bottom set of teeth, but we had skipped an appt. We went in this time and I was sure everything would be fine cuz it had only been 6 months and we are consistent with brushing and fluoride. NOPE!! I was soooo wrong!!!! Double pulpectomies on top and a regular filling and sealents. SERIOUSLY!!!!! Nothing like a grand a every 6 months for baby teeth:( They attempted to knock him out with a concotion of medication but never went all the way out. So they went ahead and added the gas and he was awake but kinda out of it. But he did GREAT and now has 4 silver teeth that he believes makes him the richest kid ever!! :)

Easton got to play in the waiting room:) The office hires someone to stay in the waiting room and play with the kids as they come in and the siblings as they wait!! FANTASTIC!!!

Finally, almost all the way out of it

Lounging in the dark, cozy, mivie room. After the dentist was done They gave him some recovery time to make sure everything was ok before we went home:)

Vetrens Day 2011

Noahs school and the Youth2000 did an AMAZING job on the Vetrens Assembly. I cried a little and was so impressed:) Noah had been excited for months before hand talking about the "love my country" songs they were learning in Music:)

So excited for it to start!!

Easton was sooo good. He gets drug all over the place some days and I am lucky that he is usually a pretty good sprot:)

They had a great slide show going while these kids talked. There were tons of pictures and old newspaper clippings.

This is a neighbor boys Grandpa but the point of the pic is that I was touched that they had all of the Vetrens in the audience stand and brought them flowers while the kids sang each individual groups song (I know they arent called groups but I dont know the lingo??) It was a great assembly and Noah loved doing it!

1st Snow of the Season

The first snow of the season is always the boys favorite!!! They go out before there is even enough snow to play in and they stay out until they are wet all the way through. They beg to go out and shovel the driveway and they are giddy the entire day!! You'll notice in these pics that Easton spent a good chunk of time eating the snow:)
