GoodBye Beloved Honda

We had to sell the Honda to pay for the Van...sad:( I would have loved to have been able to hold on to this car forever! I could see it having been Noahs first car when he turns 16 and then Noah and Easton driving it "in to the ground" in their first few years of driving:) Haha! Too bad the budget doesnt agree!

Decorating The Tree

We even got new (first not Hand Me Down) decorations for our real tree and first at home Christmas!! It took a few days to finish decorating but we started pretty early so it was ok:)

Eastons Dentist Appt

I missed the pics of his first one so this is technically his 3rdish?? But Aunt Stephanie works at his Dentist now so he was pretty excited:)

This is not Aunt Stephanie however:) We found out at this appt that he has a small cavity so we will return in January for Stephs help to fill it:)

Picking a REAL tree

Part of our attempt to make Christmas fun without traveling to see family was getting a real tree. Maybe next year we will attempt to cut down our own. The boys had a blast:)

They LOVE this spinning thing! Its why we go to this same place for fireworks, pumpkins, and trees:)

They go so dang fast!!!

And we finally found one!!! YAY:)

Thanksgiving

After having to wait until the very last minute to get permission to travel from my Doctor we were able to go to Grandma Crazy and Papa Hays for Thanksgiving dinner. We ended up celebrating in Toelle with the Barnett side of the family for dinner but still sent some family time together at the condo

We have so much to be grateful for in our lives. 2 amazing little boys and another on the way, great family on both sides, a beautiful home in a fantastic neighborhood, the Gospel, and a Temple 10 minutes away...just to name a few. We are looking forward to many more years of memories to be even more grateful for:)

Veterans Assembly 2012

Summit has a Veterans Assembly every year. They invite family and veterans and sing fun songs about the military and our country. They give roses to all the vets in attendance. The kids really seem to enjoy doing it every year.

You really can't see him but the group of kids standing in the front is the Opera Club.
 Noah was able to perform a few extra fun things for the assembly this year because he is a member of Opera Club

Happy BDay Amber

I love birthdays and always try to make as big a to-do as I can over them. Keith on the other hand, could care less. Which really means that I make a big deal out of his and he doesn't care and I never get the big deal for mine that I want. This year however, he figured things out!! He brought me balloons and a cake, arranged for a sitter and took me out to dinner. He had even taken the boys shopping for gifts and arranged for the sitter to decorate and get everything ready for a little family party while we were at dinner. They all got me gifts centered around pampering myself. So, I got a date night, a party, and got to spend the rest of the evening in a long hot bath relaxing then using my new neck massager and heating bed to relax even more while I lounged around eating chocolate and drinking Diet Coke while he put the boys to bed a cleaned up!! I LOVED it!! It was just what I needed and exactly the big "to-do" I always want:)
