Family Vacation 2012

Vacation plans changed a few times this year. We initially planned a trip to LegoLand! We were all sooo excited! However, then we found out we were pregnant and I would be 5 1/2 months when we planned it...which isnt too far but far enough that the idea of driving to California to walk all over Legoland sounded pretty miserable and not worth the money. Plus, who wants to pay admission to a park if your not allowed to ride the rides? SO, we adjusted and decided a lagoon vacation would suffice. However, that one changed to...of course. Keith couldnt get time off work before school started and the more time the boys spent thinking about it the longer the list of stuff they wanted to do in SLC got longer and longer!! Now, here it is Labor Day weekend (Noah and Easton will both end up missing a day of school...bummer) and we are in SLC having a blast with the following activities that the boys chose as we narrowed down the list:)

Day 1: Man Vs Mud
Keith and I did Man Vs Mud last year and it was a riot! We had tickets this year but ended up having to sell the tickets when the Dr advised against me participating while pregnant (seriously have had to readjust sooo many plans!! ) So we sold our tickets and bought some for the boys to do the little kid version and kicked off our vacation in Logan. Kids tickets for the Boggy Bayou included unlimited train and pony rides:)

 The Foam Pit

 The Slide

 Over and Through the tubes

 Spider Net

 The Mud Pit

 Hay Climb
 Tires

 Sprinkler

 Bounce House
A little friendly tackle!! :)

 Time to Wash Up

Watching the Ducks and Adult Racers!!

 Pony Rides

 Choo-Choo!!

Random old time Farm Equipment at American West Heritage Center

The Adult Racers after their race!! :)

We packed up that night and headed to SLC for...

Day 2: Boondocks
 Video Games

 Kids Zone

 GO KARTS!!

Noah was big enough to do the Rookie Track by himself!! He thought it was the coolest thing EVER!!!

Easton switched off riding with Mom and Dad on the regular track

 Boondock the Dog
...he never held still or would pose with the boys so this is the best we got:)

 Bumper Boats

 Miniature Golf

Hole In One!!

4D Theater
We saw all 4 shows that they offer!! The boys had sword fights while waiting in line between shows!! :)

Possibly the only picture from the entire vacation with both boys smiling AND looking at the camera!!
A few scrapes, bruises, and 7 HOURS later we are on our way back to the hotel!!

We ended this day by going back to the hotel and ordering an in room movie (Brave) and room service for dinner:)

Continued on the next post:)
